Early Life
Roy Purdy was born on February 25th, 1998, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Brenda and Tom Purdy. His father owns a bunch of restaurants and his mother works in real estate.
Roy is the middle child of three boys and grew up with an older brother Bruce and a younger brother George. As a kid, Roy developed an interest in skateboarding and has been doing this since the age of 5.
At the age of 10, Roy discovered his next passion which was music. His parents were very supportive of his interest in the arts. In terms of education, he enrolled at Appleton North High School and completed his graduation.
Career
Roy started off his music career by getting him some piano lessons. It helped set him up with a strong understanding of how to create music. By the age of 12, he formed a rock band with his friends where he was on the piano, singing and also throwing a little harmonica.
At the age of 13, Roy began to switch things up and started learning the guitar. Instead of singing, he decided to become a rapper. During high school, Roy was becoming less interested in performing covers and showed more interest in putting his work into the world.
