Early Life
Naseer Burgess was born on July 2nd, 2003 in the Bronx and grew up on 158th and 3rd Avenue. Growing up he developed an interest in basketball and began playing for the Eagle Academy school in New York. As a member of the school’s basketball team, he won a championship in his Freshman year.
After that first season, he was recruited by a prep school out in Pennsylvania. This pushed him to re-classify as a Freshman yet again. From the age of 15, Nas migrated from his block to another area where he met fellow rapper Kay Flock.
From that point forward his musical career started. Kay Flock played a big role in his success. Before releasing his first single, Nas says that he already had around 10k followers on Instagram.
Career
In June 2021 Nas Ebk released his single titled “Bunny In The Box”. The song went viral and earned him a lot of fame. From there Kay Flock became his manager. Nas went on to release more singles like “OYK”.
He also released solo hits including “RAH RAH”, “TOP 5”, and “Risk Taker”. All those tracks were released in the span of just seven months. Following this, he started getting offers to sign with record labels.
