Eamon Farren was born on May 19, 1985 in North Queensland, Australia. At the age of 6 years old, he was brought to the Gold Coast where he grew up. Farren discovered his passion for acting at an early age and began pursuing it while attending school.
He went on to attend the French Immersion Program at the Benowa State High School where students get at least half of their education in French and also study typical subjects. After that, he enrolled at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and graduated in 2007.
While growing up he always watched a movie so he could build his acting skills and stated that his primary influences and inspiration are actors Gary Oldman and Daniel Day-Lewis.
