Early Life
Villana Santiago Pacheco was born on March 27th, 1995 in a city in Puerto Rico called Bayamón. She did not grow up in a musical family however she discovered her passion for rapping from an early age.
Before launching her music career, Villana had to deal with her identity in terms of gender. She opened up with her family and friends who supported her.
From that point on, Villana began listening to the likes of Rubén Blades and continued to work on music. She also stated that Puerto Rican singer Ivy Queen is her biggest musical inspiration. She was further inspired by Nicki Minaj to Missy Elliott among others.
Career
In 2019 Villano released her debut EP Tiranía. She followed this up by dropping her second project Ketaprincesa a year later. In 2020 Villano began releasing tracks including Prende, Culo, Brillo, and Pájara.
In the following year, she teamed up with Ana Macho for her track Muñeca. At that same time, her song Vendetta came out featuring Young Miko.
From there, Villano started recording her third EP titled Hembrismo which was released in 2022. For this project, the guest appearances came from the likes of ARIA VEGA and Cami Da Baby. Moreover, it also contains the hit single Hebilla.
