Early Life
Kira Renée Magnin-Forster was born on October 22nd, 1983, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She discovered her passion for sports from an early age. When Forster was four years old, she began studying dance at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
She is a classically trained ballerina and gymnastics. Forster began training under the guidance of pro wrestler Lance Timothy Evers at the Storm Wrestling Academy. In September 2010 she completed her graduation and began focussing on her career.
Career
Around 2005, she got a chance to participate in a number of fitness competitions and modeling shows. In 2010 and 2011 she was a part of the CBBF Canadian Championships and the Arnold Amateur in which she would place 1st and 2nd respectively.
In November 2012, Forster made her ring debut under her ring moniker “Taya Valkyrie” for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a Mexican promotion. From 2012 to 2017, she continued to work for Lucha and became one of the most recognized female wrestlers on the planet.
Breakthrough
Taya became the longest reigning champion in the history of promotion after holding the Impact Wrestling Knockout’s Championship 3 times. Not to mention, she has held the titles with E. Bravo and Rosemary, becoming the former 2-time Knockout’s Tag Time Championship.
