Patti Harrison was born on October 31st, 1990, in Orient, Pickaway County, Ohio, to an American father and a Vietnamese mother. She has six older siblings, being the youngest in the family.
Her father worked in the U.S. Army and met Harrison’s mother during the Vietnam War. She was just 6 years old when her father passed away from a heart attack. Since then, Harrison and her six siblings were raised by their mother.
Harrison grew up in Orient, Ohio, the rural conservative community of the city. As a child, she developed an interest in watching comedy sketches including Mad TV, and loved to watch the shows of famous comedians including Mo Collins, Debra Wilson, and Nicole Sullivan.
Career
Harrison began her comedy career while studying at Ohio University where she got a chance to participate in the Black Sheep improv team. After college, Harrison was passionate about pursuing her career as a comedian full-time.
