Early Life

Landon Cube was born on February 1st, 1998, and grew up in Pomfret, Maryland. He was raised by both parents and was influenced by his father who was a professional musician.

Landon started writing songs when he was in the 4th grade and singing around the same time. He was the lead vocalist of the rock band in 7th grade and then went on to master the guitar.

At just 14 years old, Landon began experimenting with recording with his father’s equipment. During high school, he started hanging out with Cameron Haller, and his appearances on Cam’s YouTube channel “CUFBOYS” became a big part of building up Landon’s following.

Career

Before appearing on CUFBOYS, Landon appeared in videos put up by another friend Johnny Mel. In 2013 the clip was uploaded on Mel’s channel where Landon was singing and playing guitar.

Both Cameron and Landon appeared in a video posted by Johnny Mel called “How To Wake up a Ginger” in March 2012. In his senior year, he took his passion for music more seriously and decided that he would not go to college.

After high school graduation, he dedicated himself to music full-time. Landon’s first official release was “Euphoria” which he posted to SoundCloud in June 2016 and YouTube a month later. In the following year, he began to appear regularly on CUFBOYS.

Around 2016 Landon continued to put out covers on YouTube, SoundCloud, and Instagram. He covered “Cold Water” by Major Lazer and Justin Bieber, “Self Control” by Frank Ocean, and “Revenge” by Tentacion. 

At the end of 2016, Landon released an original song “18”. The music video for the track was released in the summer of the next year and created by famous director Cole Bennett.

Landon’s next major hit was “Beachtown” which was released on Elevator’s YouTube channel in June 2017. A month later, another music video of the track was posted on Landon’s channel which racked up over a million views.
