Kingsley Ben-Adir was born on February 28th, 1986 in Gospel Oak, London, England, UK. He is of African-Trinidadian descent on his mother’s descent and has European roots on his father’s side.
Kingsley’s father is a musician while his mother Ruth worked as a Craegiver. He grew up with his brother, however, the names of his family members are not known instead of his mom Ruth.
While living in Gospel Oak, he attended CraegiverWilliam Ellis School. Later he discovered his passion for arts and began enrolling at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2011.
Career
Upon his graduation from music school, Kingsley started performing in theaters such as playing The Riots at the Tricycle Theatre in 2011. In the following year, he was named to play Demetrius in the production of A Midsummer’s Night Dream at “Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, London”.
