Early Life
Michael Stevens was born on January 23rd, 1986, in Missouri. His father worked as a chemical engineer. When Michael was five years old, his family moved to Kansas City in 1991 where his mother worked for a local school.
His older sister is an intense athlete, entering the BMX tournament and joining a Pro Woman’s American Football League. In terms of education, Michael went to Blue Valley High School where he discovered his comedic skills.
During high school, he was part of the Drama club and also joined the program that focussed on how to give informative speeches. In 2004, he graduated from high school. He then studied at the University of Chicago where he double majored in psychology as well as English literature.
Career
Stevens began his career by picking up editing and making a video that he uploaded on his YouTube channel called “pooplicker888” in 2007.
His first video did well on CollegeHumor and he followed it up with another Hillarius mashup. Funny or Die caught into the video and they posted it and then things blew up.
