Early Life
Younes Bendjima was born on May 5th, 1993 in Algeria. His father runs a traditional Algerian restaurant while his mother lives in Paris. Younes began training as a boxer at the early age of 11 with the help of his uncle.
His parents separated when he was young and from there he was raised primarily for his mother for a short time. While growing up, Younes saw that his parents relocated to different places, his mom moved to Paris and his father went to New York.
When Younes got older he decided to join his father in America and began working with him at the restaurant. He also visits his mom over the summer months in Paris. As a result, he can speak English, French, and Arabic.
