Katie Emily Douglas was born on October 19th, 1998, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Her father Ken Douglas passed away after suffering from pancreatic cancer.

Since then she was raised by her single mother Jayce Douglas. Katie spent her childhood in Ontario along with three younger siblings including two twin brothers and a sister Sarah.

She graduated from Nelson High School. Upon completing high school she went on to take her acting and theatre classes at the Great Big Theatre Company.

Career

When Douglas was 6 years old she began her acting career at the Bolshoi Theatre in Burlington, Ontario. From that point on she started getting acting gigs and starred in several Christmas plays and productions. Around that same time, she made screen acting in the TV series “F2: Forensic Factor” in 2003.

Breakthrough
